Review: Unraveling Him

Unraveling Him Unraveling Him by Claire Kingsley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

description

Gah. Claire is right. It's most definitely the grumpy one is soft for the sunshine one.

AND OMG EVAN FREAKING BAILEY is everything you want in your sexy, broody man.

He works on cars.
He's quiet.
He has a dog.
He's got his own home--and land.

And he is sexy as sin. Big hands, body to die for. Yep. Evan Bailey. Swoooon.

And Fiona. Oh, that girl is the sweetest thing this side of blackberry cobbler. I could just eat her up. Or hug her. Or be her bestie because that girl needs a bestie.

I love Tilikum. I love the Haven-Bailey feud. I love how the stories and lives and families all come together.
And Gram. I love that strong, uplifting woman.

Wolf found his happy.

Review: The Doctor

The Doctor The Doctor by Nikki Sloane
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

SALE (August 12.2020): https://amzn.to/2CjZs5g

Whoa. Is it hot in here or is it just me?!

I'll admit there was a bit more sexy-times than I wanted, but I'm not even mad about it. Each new scene was hotter than the one before it.
I wanted more angst. That is my problem, but honestly, this was well done. There was just enough angst to keep me moving through the pages and excited to see what would happen.

Greg Lowe is sexy as sin. He might be older than Cassidy--by 20 years--but that doesn't make him any less sexy.
And as the dad to her recent ex-boyfriend, he's totally off limits.

Right?

If you want lots of sexy and a touch of angst, but a whole lot of chemistry and passion, then this is definitely something you should read.

My first Nikki Sloane and I'm not disappointed.

Review: Fragile Things

Fragile Things Fragile Things by Samantha Lovelock
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I'll admit I had super early access to this book, but that doesn't mean I didn't absolutely fall head over heels in love with these characters, the writing, the story.

I did not expect this level of storytelling from a first time author. When I found out she hadn't published before, I was shocked. This book is solid. It's a great introduction to a series full of secrets and sins and love and hate.

Stella Bradleigh is the heroine we all wish to be. She's strong, she's a take-no-shit-stand-up-for-herself badass. She's strong. She's a fighter.

Poe Halliday is the man on campus. He's the alpha-male, asshole, badass I always say I want in my man, but know that it seriously only works in romance.
Poe is no exception to this.

I love him.
I love her.

I love the friendships and the bonds and the secrets.

And I feel like we've just scratched the surface of the secrets the families of Folkestone are keeping.

Review: Corrupt

Corrupt Corrupt by Penelope Douglas
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

That was one fucked up ride. And I loved every single minute of it.

This is one of those books that I wish I could reread for the first time. I was on the edge of my seat for the majority of this book. And the sex in this book? Damn. It's hot.
