Review: Addicted for Now

Addicted for Now Addicted for Now by Krista Ritchie
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Holy shit. Just holy shit. The twists and turns in this book came at me from all sides. I wasn't expecting it, but I loved it. My jaw dropped on more than one occasion. I just didn't see some of the problems that would come at Lo and Lily.

And those twists? Those problems? That drama? It drove the story. Yes, Lo and Lily are why we read. They are the couple we are rooting for because they seem to have the world against them. Yet, they deserve love just like everyone else. And this is their battle. Their story.

Our regular favorites are back to help Lily and Loren. You'll learn a little more about Conner Cobalt, Ryke Meadows, Daisy and Rose. You'll learn about those who are willing to sacrifice those they love just to get a step ahead of their past.

You're going to see the dark side of this love, the depths of addiction, and the loyalty that lies within them.

Review: Only Love

Only Love Only Love by Melanie Harlow
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Wow! Ryan and Stella are going to knock your socks off! I have loved seeing Stella from her sisters' eyes. She's been a bit misunderstood, a bit uptight, and a bit unsure of herself.

And with good reason.

But sometimes all we need is a special someone to bring us out of our shells and really show us what it's like to feel. Live. Love.

By the time we finished eating dessert, I had a solid buzz going, so I blame the gin for what happened next.

And boy, if what happened to Stella after having that gin could happen to me? Yeah, I'd blame the gin too.

Ryan is a former Marine who is trying to figure out his role as a civilian. He isn't quite sure what he's supposed to do so he keeps to himself.
Well, except for the fact his neighbor keeps him busy with odd jobs around the house. And he spends some time with his friend, Mack (#MackIsMine, fyi, so back off). Other than that, he's a quiet kind of guy.

But, well, Ryan's dear neighbor just happens to have a granddaughter. And she just happens to be coming up for a visit.

Yes. Grams is the greatest character. She's hilarious, she's sweet, she's charming, and she is a matchmaker. Or she tries to be.

Ryan meets Stella. Stella meets Ryan.

What happens next, I blame on the gin.

Review: The Devil

The Devil The Devil by Ashley Jade
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

If you want a hot and dirty book, with a whole lot of mindfuck on the side, well, why haven't you bought The Devil yet?

Because this book has it all. Mystery, suspense, intrigue, sexy times....

Yes. The Devil has it all.

And it's mindblowing. Seriously. My mind has practically exploded this book is so good. I was never sure what would happen, wasn't sure who I was rooting for, wasn't sure of anything.
And that was so much fun and refreshing and I loved the suspense of it all.

And the sex? Yes. God, yes! It's hot and dirty too. And you know you like it hot and dirty.

Get ready for one wild mindfuck of a ride.

Review: Dear Jane

Dear Jane Dear Jane by Kendall Ryan
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Jane and Weston haven't spoken in forever, but when he signs with the football team that she helps manage...well, they are forced to talk again.

Told in true Kendall Ryan fashion, she brings these two together and she does it in the sweetest way possible. I LOVED watching Jane and Wes find themselves within each other. It's a sweet second chance romance that will have you swooning.

Review: Good Time

Good Time Good Time by Jana Aston
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

MY TOP 2018 ROMCOM.

HANDS DOWN THE FUNNIEST BOOK I'VE READ ALL YEAR.

I picked up this book knowing it would be a Good Time (I know you see what I did there). I just knew because Jana Aston always makes me laugh. ALWAYS. And she did not disappoint. Seriously. There wasn't a single thing wrong with this book. In fact, everything that could go right, went right.

Payton is the friend of our Good Girl, Lydia. You remember her, right? She found love with our favorite Rhys. Payton was the crazy friend. Is the crazy friend. The kind of friend you wish you had. Especially when you get inside her head.

Which is what you get here. Payton is the funniest heroine I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. And I've met some crazy ladies in my time. But Payton is just so much fun and endearing and there's a small part of me that is just as crazy so I can totally relate to her brand of nuts.

And don't even get me started on Vince. Vince in Good Girl was a bit mysterious and had that whole "I run a strip club" thing about him.
But Vince in Good Time is just all the things. He's my number two Aston man. And I think that's because I'm stubborn and I'll never let Sawyer go. But let's talk about Vince....

Just, yes please! I'll take one sexy, broody, intense, intelligent man. I'll take him to-go. I'll take him for now. And I'll take him forever. Till death do us part.

You will too. You'll want a Vince all for yourself. But unfortunately I've already claimed him so you'll just have to bow out now.

If you've made it this far, please help me in my plea for a book about Canon. I've been wanting him to have a book for quite some time now.
