Review: The Heir
The Heir by Kiera Cass
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
As I'm finally ready to dive into The Crown, I have to say I don't hate this series. Does it annoy me? Yes. But I don't hate it.
This book is still better than the others.
I'm ready to see who Eadlyn chooses, which is actually the most exciting thing about all this. It's so up in the air.
With America's books, we knew she would be chosen--why else would we be in her POV. But with this, we are in Eadlyn's POV, so we have no idea which boy will win her heart.
My money is on Kyle.
But I really think she's got a thing for Eric (or whatever the spelling is--I'm doing the audio here).
`````````````````````````````
3.5 stars. I rated up for this book as I found it more enjoyable than the previous three. Eadlyn was, for the most part, more likeable than America ever was. However, I think I like the guys more. Kile, Erik (despite the fact he isn't a part of the Selection), Henri, and the others have all managed to be sweet and kind in a surreal situation. of course, if this were being told from the pov of one of the guys, it may not be this way.
I was pleasantly surprised by this installment. and since I can't seem to stop myself, I'll be reading the next one.
