Review: The Real Thing

The Real Thing The Real Thing by Melissa Foster
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I absolutely adore Melissa Foster's writing. When I saw this was available in Kindle Unlimited I immediately downloaded it!

And I am not disappointed. I just wanted more, more, more of Z and Willow. I couldn't stop listening!

Friends-to-lovers, Best-friend's-little-sister, brother's-best-friend....you name it, and it's here. Movie star and small town girl? Yep. That's here too.

It's perfection. It's sweet. It's sexy. It's The Real Thing.

Review: Dirty Headlines

Dirty Headlines Dirty Headlines by L.J. Shen
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

LJ Shen is the mother-fucking Queen of writing bad boys. I mean, Celian is a special brand of asshole. Not quite Vicious level asshole, but god, he's so close.

Celian is all the things you want in your alpha. He's a dirty talker, dirty in bed, and loyal to his core. At least when he finds Judith Humphry.

Judith, or Jude as her friends call her, is a mighty force. She wears her heart on her sleeve and loves fiercely, despite not thinking she is capable of love.

These two were made for each other. There's heat and chemistry and sizzle and spark. There's lust and love and hate.

Just, yes. All the yeses to Celian Laurent.

Review: Tragic

Tragic Tragic by J.A. Huss
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I haven't read this book in almost 3 years.
And I don't know why I've waited so long to revisit this world. Gah, Rook and Ronin started everything for me. And I do mean every-freaking-thing.

I don't know if I can fully explain how happy it makes me to be back in this world, with these characters. I am going to spend a bit of time in Fort Collins and LoDo, so just leave me to it. I'll return when I've finished....hell, I don't know, Wasted Lust? The Misters? Turning Point? I have a hard time leaving this world once I get into it.

Review: Switch Hitter

Switch Hitter Switch Hitter by Sara Ney
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I couldn't get enough of Dash and Amelia. I loved everything about this little story. Great story line, great chemistry, great characters.

Has it been done before? Probably.
Did I enjoy it as much? Probably not.

And I say that because I gave this thing 5-stars all the way across. Sweet, fun, sexy, funny, endearing, and so captivating. Sara Ney just found herself a new fan.

Bring on the rest of the Jocks. I'm ready.

Review: Flirting with Forever

Flirting with Forever Flirting with Forever by Kendall Ryan
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Another sweet and sexy read from Kendall Ryan. I just love her books! Every single one of them leaves me with a smile on my face. She writes the kind of books that leaves you happy and light-hearted.

Natalie is best friends with two guys, but is it possible to love one of them in a more-than-friends way?

Cam has harbored feelings for Natalie for as long as anyone can remember. Well, anyone except Cam. With a gentle push from their mutual best friend, these two find themselves in each other's arms.

And it is so sweet and magical and sweet.

Review: From This Moment

From This Moment From This Moment by Melanie Harlow
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Because I wanted to laugh and cry and love. I wanted Wes to get his chance. I wanted Hannah to feel secure within herself. I wanted to strangle Lenore. I wanted to hug Abby. I wanted to just hold them all.

So, yeah, let's hold that 4 star rating. Let's enjoy this book for the second chance at love. Enjoy it because it's well written, loving, and sweet.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Another heartbreaking love story from Melanie Harlow.
Just when you think she couldn't get any better, she does. She pushes the envelope on love. She makes you think outside the box. She makes you feel.
And I felt.
I felt happiness, sadness, loneliness, closeness, and everything in between.
Hannah is a widow, left to raise her daughter on her own. She's doing everything she can to survive, but sometimes life is just too hard, too much.
Wes is surviving his brother's death. After spending years overseas, he finally comes home to his family. While learning the ropes at the family practice, he's building and mending bridges with Hannah, his sister-in-law, and Abby, his niece.
But what happens when you start to fall for the one person you should never have feelings for? What happens when others stick their noses in your business and think they know better than you do? What happens when it all blows up in your face and the very thing you've been fighting against is inevitable?
Do you embrace it?
Or just let it slip through your fingers?
Review: Ricochet
Ricochet Ricochet by Krista Ritchie
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I'm not sure what I'm looking forward to more: the return of Lo or the book where Ryke will truly shine.
Because I am so totally in love with the story of Loren Hale and Lily Calloway, but I am blown away every single time Ryke makes an appearance. His asshole-ishness, the way he cares--while not caring, and the way he pushes people to be better for themselves. I love Ryke.
But I digress.
This is a true continuation of a series. At the end of Addicted to You Lo goes to rehab and Lily makes the decision to leave Penn. Rose is crazy supportive of Lil and Lo, Connor Cobalt is a force in their lives, and the rest of the Calloway family is left in the dark. Lo realizes Ryke isn't just some random guy.
All of the secrets are pushed closer to the front of the story, Lo is doing more for himself, and Lil is finally seeking the help she needs and I am just...I guess I don't have the right words for this. I just am so freaking excited there are more books and that the sisters all get books and that this world isn't over and that I'm only 2 books in.
I'm moving on to the next book as soon as I get my greedy whore hands on it. I just have to know what else happens to these power couples.
